Classic Italian Gio Ponti style superleggera (super light) Chiavari side/ dining chairs weights about 3 kilos (6 lbs 11 oz) Originally meant for weddings and large events where lightweight chairs are a must. These have the elongated ladderbacks so characteristic of Gio Ponti’s Fireside chairs. Frames are ebonized birch with laced cord seats. Light signs of age and wear. Excellent condition overall.
